How did this Blenheim resident reduce his monthly power bill to just $1.60?
If you’ve been ‘on the fence’ about solar - this is the sign you’ve been waiting for. Actually, it’s the power bill you’ve been waiting for. A $1.60 power bill in fact.
Blenheim resident, Stephen Gould, made the move to renewable energy in October 2018 when Harrisons installed 16 solar panels on his roof. His power bills for November and December 2018 were $17 and $1.60 consecutively.

The Roost: A solar, self-sufficiency success story

That’s the opinion of Graeme and Linda Newall, hosts of The Roost executive bed and breakfast in the picturesque outskirts of Waiuku township.
